Privacy Policy
BuyerPass operates identity resolution and intent-tracking technology. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is processed, and the choices available to you.
1. Data We Capture
Across the BuyerPass platform we process two broad categories of information. Understanding which applies to you determines your rights under this policy.
- Corporate intent signals (BuyerSignals): aggregated, business-level browsing and research behavior used to infer which companies are in-market for a product or service.
- Website identity resolution (BuyerPixels): de-anonymization of traffic to a customer's website using hashed identifiers matched against consented third-party datasets.
- Incentive fulfillment data (BuyerIncentives): contact and delivery details needed to issue reward certificates such as travel vouchers or gift cards.
- Account and billing data: information you provide when you create an account or purchase a Quarterly or Annual Pass.
2. How Data Is Captured, Hashed & Resolved
Personal identifiers are hashed (using a one-way SHA-256 process) before they are matched against our consented identity graph. We do not store raw, plaintext email addresses or phone numbers obtained through pixel-based resolution. Matched records are returned to the relevant customer (the Data Controller) for their lawful follow-up, governed by our Data Processing Agreement.
3. State & Global Privacy Laws (CCPA / CPRA / GDPR)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. For residents of the EEA and UK, we process data under the lawful bases set out in the GDPR and UK GDPR, including legitimate interest and consent.
4. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You may opt out of having your intent data tracked, sold, or shared at any time. Submitting a request immediately suppresses your identifiers across the BuyerPass identity graph.
To exercise this right, email privacy@buyerpass.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Info," or use the cookie preferences banner to withdraw consent for tracking scripts on any site running our pixel.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our customers use cookies and similar identification pixels to deliver core functionality and resolve website visitors. In jurisdictions that require it, tracking scripts only fire after you grant consent through the cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time.
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain resolved records only as long as necessary to deliver the service and meet legal obligations. Security controls, encryption standards, and hosting protocols are described in our Security overview.
7. Contact
